After a day of listlessly staring at a couple of spreadsheets, I got away to fetch the sloop over to the pontoon. And give the crew a bit of instruction in the handling of lines.
And then home to the lilac fisherman's cottage to catch that South Bank Show about Paul Greengrass. Excellent stuff. Talented bugger.
Now to catch up on a bit of reading - I've been passed on Atul Gawande's book, Being Mortal and blimey it's a bit unputdownable. The section where he briefly runs over the real and incontrovertible facts behind the process of ageing is as engrossing and appalling as anything I've read for quite a while. I gather it's non-fiction.
