You gIve me hope... to carry on

But Not much. 

My wee home has gone bonkers.    

The Open Golf has come to Town, and our streets have been taken over by traffic cones, shuttle buses, policemen on motor bikes and about 40,000 men wearing hi-vis vests standing on every corner. (not 40,000 on every corner, but an army of 40,000 deployed in groups on corner). 

What distresses me more than anything, yes, more than the 30 mph speed limit which they have imposed on the by-pass to my work meaning my 8 minute journey to work, now takes me 20 minutes, AND i'm the only one sticking to the speed limit.... is that the town have decorated the streets with more fairy lights on one lamp post than the WHOLE town has at Christmas time, and they have done this on EVERY LAMP POST! 

Why??? why???

It's crazy.  Crazy crazy crazy.
