Briefly met up with Robb and Meeta before they dashed off for their train to Paris - also saw the lovely dudes who seemed in great form. Just after R & M left, anxious about first train (operated by Southern who are not doing well at the moment) I got a text from DaveH who was due to be catching a train down to Bristol, saying his train had been cancelled! He was running about Waverley station trying to find alternatives.
I & K eventually turned up from Lewes to collect me and we drove back to Bristol. It was a long and tedious journey, lots of traffic delays and queues and farm vehicles. Strange for me to be a passenger in these circs, since I used to be the sole driver in the old days. We called in at Priddy to drop some stuff off for tomorrow, but eventually got back to Clifton, Mr H having managed to arrive about half an hour ahead of us. I had directed him to the local pub, of course; so met him there for a pint and then we all went round to a restaurant called Fishers for a meal. It was v good.
I'd spent most of the day sitting in the back of the car not really seeing anything to photograph - so this glimpse through a window of a road level flat in the crescent, snapped on our way back from the restaurant, is all I have!
