The letterbox next door

During my lunchtime walk today I deliberately had an exercise in mind using colour. It wasn't easy, at least in part because I've been happily seeing my world in black and white lately.

Anyway, for today's blip I have the mail from the building next door. Come to think of it the building is either for sale or for lease, so I hope someone collects the mail.

I edited 6 videos and wrestled various other bits and pieces into submission today. I think that's a pretty good outcome.

Best of all I had a phone call from Southern Cross, my medical insurance company. It was manager from high up calling to let me know they'll cover my recent tooth surgery. It's a long surgery but my policy covered me for the procedure provided it was done by an oral surgeon.

There is a shortage of oral surgeons in Christchurch and no one could see me urgently. Instead a dentist who specialises in extracting teeth under sedation removed it, the right procedure but titled person did it.

So it's a huge thumbs up for Southern Cross. I have a bit of paper work to chase up for it and I'd better get back to that now.
