Peacock Flower(Caesalpinia pulcherrima)

A very beautiful but in my mind unusually named as the colours are wrong for a Peacock. Maybe it is named for its 'showy' habit and not its red and orange blooms. Very delicate fern like foliage and unique see capsules that ripen to expose small brown beans. Very drought tolerant and makes a great shrub informal hedge.
