Dunnock

I have never, ever seen a Dunnock before! At first I thought it was a female, or juvinile Robin, but on investigation I find it's a Dunnock! I fist spied it rooting about in the undergrowth, which is very characteristic of this bird, its also on the Amber alert list & is really quite rarely seen! What a surprise & a lovely bird to see on day three of my garden watch!
