Feeling Patriotic!

It's been another rather wet but lovely day today :-(

However it hasn't dampened our spirit!!  We arrived on Mull just before 11am today and drove straight to Tobermory to see the colourful houses of Balamory :-)

We visited the Mull Aquarium - Europes first Catch and release aquarium.  Basically all the exhibits are local sealife collected and given to the centre by locals.  They are kept in tanks fed continuously from water pumped straight out of the bay and released again into the wild after about 3 or 4 weeks!!

They have a touch pool giving opportunites for people to hold or touch some of the exibits - see extra - this was a boy of about 9 holding a scallop, sadly I just missed it squirting out some water!!

After a wander and making some arrangements for tomorrow we stopped at Tobermory Chocolate where we sampled some of the most delicous chocolate! ;-) before heading back to our accomodation.

We are staying at Arle Lodge, about 20 min drive outside Tobermory - it's a wonderful place and because it's shared accommodation we've met some lovely people from the Netherlands and Germany.  I'll take some pics of the lodge tomorrow.

We went for a walk before dinner and this is when I took my blip shot.  Having watched Andy Murray win at Wimbledon I thought this was the perfect picture to choose!!

I'd just like to finish tonight's blip by giving a huge thanks to Portugal for winning Euro 2016 this evening!! :-)  They have very kindly funded our whale watching trip tomorrow by winning in extra time!!

So hopefully some interesting Blips tomorrow!
