A wet morning in Epping Forest

Today Zeus09smum and I  (and Zeus of course) braved the weather to take a walk in the forest, our first in a couple of weeks. When we arrived at the tea hut it began to rain so heavily that we were forced to drink our tea sitting in the car.  By the time we had finished, the rain had all but stopped and we decided to go ahead with our walk, albeit a rather short one.  There were lots of droplet photo opportunities today.  I rather liked this one of the partly open knapweed with its spiky head festooned with water drops.

In other news: the weather came good over London this afternoon, perfect weather for Mr Murray to win his second Wimbledon title.
I was pleased also that Serena Williams won the  ladies match yesterday.
