York train station

A few weeks ago we accepted an offer on our house in York which was a huge relief as we've had a bit of a roller coaster year with the current tenants. Everything is going fairly smoothly but today we had to have a few meetings in order to tie up paper work and finances. My parents volunteered to look after the kids for the day so that we could get everything sorted.
We decided to catch the train which was pure bliss as for once we managed to read our books/newspapers and chat without being constantly interrupted! We had an incredibly productive day and even had time to enjoy a lovely lunch and a potter around the shops as York really is lovely place.

The kids had an equally fab time with Grandma and Grandad and Olivia's first comment to me when we got back was: "I've had loads of chocolate today!'
