Is It An Ent?

Those who know of Lord of the Rings may remember the Ents; giant tree-creatures that could (albeit slowly) walk and talk. Along the bank of the Brisbane River reside several of these mythical beings. I chose this one because of its impressive roots (toes?). I had a long leisurely walk beside the river today - most pleasant. I'm getting in as much Queensland sun and big skies as I can - the day after tomorrow I'm Heathrow-bound.
