Norwich Cathedral

Thank you for all the kind comments on recent blips - much appreciated.

Not the sort of cathedral I normally spend time in, but a very very impressive building non the less.
Also an excellent venue for a spot of lunch.
Afterwards we popped over to see the birthday girl and have afternoon tea with TonyG & J. a very relaxing way to pass some time whilst letting Nan have a afternoon nap that she swears she doesn't need....

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,

In this farmhouse my Grandad often read to me, and around the gardens are little faded plaques of his favourite verse; today this, by Yeats, seemed apt.
