Trawden in Gloom

We had a drive to Trawden today for the annual Garden & Scarecrow Festival.

What a shame, the weather was atrocious and the streets were deserted.

Compared to last year (when the scarecrows followed the story of the Wizard of Oz), there were barely any scarecrows to be seen today.

We drove through the village, rather than walking and stopped only to pay a visit to the plant lady. Last year, we spent about £20 and everything we bought has come up really well in the garden.

Today we spent £10, buying a few more Lupins, a trailing geranium, some more sedum and a mystery plant!

We've also been to see Mum, she's doing ok and is feeling better every day. She's booked in for physio in just over a weeks time which I'm pleased about.
