Landing gear down

Friday 8th July 2016 (1413)

Travelled over to the Wirral to meet up with SueT123 this morning. We went to Burton Mere Wetlands. The weather was kind to us and the sun came out. We enjoyed the walk and spent quite a bit of time in one of the hides practising capturing birds in flight and landing. The birds were quite a distance away so the camera was on full zoom and I've also cropped the shot. I'm pleased with a number of captures, despite the grain. We were also lucky to see the Spoonbills, first time I've seen one. See extra.

Mid-afternoon we went down to West Kirby and walked round the marine lake. We enjoyed taking some different action shots, this time of the windsurfers.
