Late night Roundup.....

Another long day. One away to a bird sale at Lanark( or away with the budgies! ). The other spreading dung on one of the fields we lifted for silage last week. The herd took a load of lambs to Stirling mart. I had to go back to Macmerry to get yesterday's hoses done again as the fittings on one end didn't fit
The spray contractor in with 2 self propelled machines doing the spring barley, spring oats then spraying off 30 acres of grass with glyphosphate( Roundup) to kill off the grass so we can drill fodder rape into the turf. This saves time and fuel having to plough first.
This was them finishing at 10.30 tonight, just as the first spots of rain fell.
