Stitched up....

Another day of chaos. The crew turned up to start replacing the cattle handling race which was on its last legs. It was built in the early 70's from reclaimed timber and railway sleepers and has seen thousands of cattle through it, but was getting beyond repair .
Of course , once they had it all demolished and away home, there was a heifer needing a caesarean tonight. Managed to rig up a temporary handling set up and the vet had a live calf out and the cow stitched up by midnight .
