Ladies who meet ......

...... once a fortnight for nearly 40 years Mrs AMK49 and her friend  S have met in alternate houses.

In recent years the tradition has become that 4 strawberry tarts are bought so that the husbands can share in the feast, although not the chat.

I caught this blip as the tray was about to be taken down to the summer house in the garden and the ladies emerged an hour and a half later by which time I had cut the front grass and trimmed all the edges - and eaten my strawberry tart!
