Check carefully . . .

I wondered, when I emptied the washing out of the machine into the basket, what the green bits were.  Some sort of plant material?  A bud, bits of stem and slimy leafy remnants?  Then I remembered . . .

Yesterday I'd been admiring the honeysuckle clambering its way over the water butt, it's in full flower and smelt wonderful. Such a strong heady perfume in the afternoon sun, that I pulled a piece off and put it in Mike's shirt pocket so he could enjoy the scent too.  The shirt was chucked in the washing basket at the end of the day and then I threw it into the machine, not thinking to check for foliage!

Luckily nothing needed washing again, by the time it had had a blow on the line all was well!  Next time I'll stick a piece in a vase!
