Heading back to Princeton

The NJT, New Jersey Transit trains are double decker, and they have a man in a uniform with a pair of clippers who comes round and punches your ticket for you. He asks where you are going and tells you how many stops away that is and how to make your connection. Probably because the line services two airports and three major cities. But it does come across as very old fashioned and high service. 

Another hot bright day. This being the Fourth of July I ended up at the American equivalent of a village Fete. It was overloaded with American history and culture and cake and was great fun.
