The Met

The Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art is a world class institution rivalling the British Museum and the National Gallery combined. 

It is not only very easy to get lost there it is very easy to get obsessed there. 

I've spent a lot of time in museums and galleries this trip, it is just too hot and bright to spend much time outside, and the shops are mostly the same as here.
