New Boathouses

There are several hundred boat houses around Lake Windermere. Some are beautifully built from local stone and have slate roofs. These two newly built boathouse style timber houses are available for holiday lets. They look rather luxurious inside. Below them are workshops.

A day of learning man overboard drill using the motor and the sail, learning to anchor and practicing coming up to a mooring. Tomorrow we are being tested.
