Hard at it ...
The shearing gang in today to do the blackies from one of the hills. I kept out of the way and spent the day sheeting the second silage pit. The wind had dropped today so wasn't too bad apart from chucking all the tyres on and getting soaked with all the stinking water inside them. The rain on and off all afternoon then tonight it is chucking it down.
Didn't get the job finished as had to go and help roll up wool at 3 .30 when Kev cleared off. Was finished by 6pm so not too bad.
This is Kiwi Johnnie showing how it should be done. He was 4th competing at Lochearnhead at the weekend and he won at the Highland Show 2 years ago so knows a thing or two about wool removal !
