We had a little bit of everything. Beauty queens, politicians, vacation bible school floats, and old tractors.

The trick to seeing the parade is knowing where to park...what time to arrive...and...what your exit strategy is. I parked in a place that is REAL quiet...the city cemetery. But, my exit was not good, as we got caught up in the traffic.

The same thinking has to go in to the fireworks show tonight. It starts at 10 o'clock, and if you're not careful...it can take you longer to get out...than it takes for the actual fireworks. We picked a new spot this year. Wish us luck.
