Rainy day journey to Mänttä

Early morning running some errands for our teens and for our grandparents, then decided to make a short trip to celebrate the first day of our summer vacation, me and hubby.  Of course it started to rain as we left home.

We made a journey to Gösta Sherlachius museum to Mänttä-Vilppula.
I especially liked "The Model and the mad painter" and "The Starry Skies of Art", but the three oher exhibitions were lovely too.

On our way back we visited our old work mate, retired now, having a small and hobby boats dockyard. Had a cup of coffee and donuts at the dockyard by the serene Ruovesi -lake.

On our way back home we had one pitstop at the place I wanted to blip to you. It is the smallest museum of the Europe, the Milk Platform Museum. There is a blue cow staring at it, and there was also one geocahce near it (my 57th).

And here is the video of our drive from the Milk Platform Museum back to Tampere... 10' scene of finnish country road. Do not listen the music!
