A long awaited visitor

This Peach Blossom moth Thyatira batis is quite common, and I always knew I should be catching it in my garden trap, but in the 4 years I have been trapping in this location this is the first time I have actually caught one! 
I can't begin to tell you how ecstatic I was to see it in the trap. Sadly it is rather an old and tired specimen, because when they are fresh the spots are a wonderful pinky colour and not beige as in this specimen.
