I think my mum would agree with Russell Crowe - she has quite a way with cows. She and her friend Ann used to have a dairy farm, but they both gave it up to have children instead!

These cows are on the kitchen wall of Ann's daughter, Sue. Sue is just a couple of weeks younger than me, so we've always known each other - even if we don't see each other very often.

This weekend has been a busy weekend of celebrations for Sue - her 10th wedding anniversary and her son's baptism. This picture was taken at the anniversary party - a hog roast in the farm yard and a barn dance in the barn! Gorgeous weather and lovely company.
