I had a lovely sunny day for my journey south, and stopped off in Leeds for some respite from driving. It was great to meet Spartan for coffee and have a whistle-stop tour of the centre of Leeds. Then I went on to see my friend Paula - a wedding photographer - to drink more coffee and be regaled with hilarious wedding stories.

The little lady pictured is one of Paula's 'tame' squirrels that come when called, and get spoilt rotten! She was right up against the French window, and let me get right up to her on the other side. This look was the result of me clinking my camera against the glass, which startled her and interrupted her nibbling. She wasn't impressed!
