Knot in cedar

I love patterns and knots in wood, especially cedar.   This is part of the cedar siding on the inside of our porch.  Likely my entry for the weekly challenge of Closeup.
A full-on few hours in the garden.  I'm full of admiration for anyone who has a big garden.  I can hardly keep up with our few raised beds, and it's incredible how much the work adds up when nothing is done for even two or three days!   We watched the Italy-Germany game.  Certainly not the most exciting game so far, and the penalty shoot-out at the end was a comedy of errors.  It might be easier to watch the rest of the games now that Italy's gone and I can relax.  :)  I think that a Wales-Iceland final would be awesome!
