The weekly challenge is Closeup, so I dug out the macro lens.  It's been ages since I've used it and I forgot exactly how, and it isn't compatible with my newer camera, unfortunately.  I also forgot how to use manual on my older camera, so it was a little frustrating.  I'm not happy with this closeup of a peacock feather, so I might give it another go tomorrow.
I backblipped for June 29th and 30th.  No time to blip while we were away for a couple of days, so I'm way behind with commenting and replying.  I was surprised by the reaction to my frog on the fence shot a few days ago and really appreciate the stars, hearts and lovely comments.  Thank you!   Back on track now and will hopefully catch up soon.
Happy Canada Day to Canadian blippers!  I decided not to take in any of the local celebrations.  Two days in the city with crowds of people and heavy traffic made staying at home and enjoying the quiet just the ticket.  I know that it will be hopping in town, lots of tourists around.
