Coastal Mist
The day was clear and bright as Hubby and I drove out of town, we were looking forward to a few days away at Gore Bay.
Driving through small settlements, passing vineyards and farms with clear views of the Puketeraki Range in the distance we made our way towards the town of Cheviot where we stopped at Harris Meats to collect a few supplies.
From Cheviot we headed out to the coast where the Pacific Ocean was calm and the sea mist was hugging the coastline of Gore Bay. All was quiet in this sleepy little settlement where it usually 'comes alive' during the busy months of summer.
It was hard to make a choice, here is a misty view of the hills surrounding the small bay, and another view of the bay just behind me.
Its great to be by the sea again :)
