Chive Blossom

The deer haven't eaten these yet, but I suspect they'll get around to it.  Everything else is pretty well denuded but that's okay -- I didn't have much outside in the first place.  I'm thinking of putting some artificial flowers outside just for some color, even though the very thought offends me.

I had the entire osprey colony hunting outside my door today.  I counted at least 5 of them soaring around and talking to one another.  And the mama deer and her two babies stopped by as well.  At first I just saw the babies and was very relieved to see mom come around the corner to check up on them.  I suppose they'd be fine but they seem awfully little to be out on their own.   
Still nursing a miserable cold and resting a lot.  I really caught a bad one this time.
