unfurled bloom...

...from a bud

remember it - when i posted it as an unfurling bud... just a couple of weeks ago?

now it's opened... into this gorgeous bluish-purple blossom - on the african violet... doesn't it seem so apropo right now - that it would give me this new blossom when i'm beginning a new phase in my own life... moving on to fresh starts - taking this tiny life form with me... into my new home - how wonderful - nature reaching out to me - extending a welcome of its own to reassure me everything is truly going to be alright...
