Wild

"Wild?  I was absolutely livid!"

The wild flowers on the grassy knoll are coming up thick and fast.  I'm sure a lot of them are weeds, but then the dividing line between weeds and wild flowers is fairly fuzzy, so I think anything pretty can stay.  I don't know what this is, but it's a keeper.

School office this morning, then helping Mr B with a few things so he could get out of the door on time for a trip to London.  Shopping this evening with CarbBoy for a present for his teacher - normally we just do something small and home-made, but he's leaving the school and she's been his teacher for five years, so I felt something more permanent was needed. After advice from other staff at the school, we've gone for cookery books.  I also seem to have volunteered to organise a bunch of flowers from the whole year group (all five of them) - must remember to do that...

Later, helping TallGirl make a lime tray bake for the vets to thank them for her work experience, and some football with a surprisingly awake CarbBoy, who is normally snoozing by the 50th minute.

And trying to avoid spending too much time with head in hands over the situation in Britain.  Is anyone actually in charge?  It says something that the word omnishambles is now too mild for what's going on.
