Trebah

After the beach yesterday, I had Gin Night with the girls. So today started very late and very gently! We watched the Olympic opening ceremony again with the children. I enjoyed it just as much as I did first time round. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant! Except for Macxa - so I cackled like a witch when the recording cut out just after he started...

About 2 we realised we had no food and we needed to give the children both dinner and tea (lunch and dinner/supper). So we headed to Trebah and had a delicious meal. We then picked up their new "Olympic Trail" and evaded to the beach. Great fun was had whooping and laughing as they jumped in over and over again off this jetty. Much to the displeasure of one particularly sour faced woman who kept looking daggers at us.

Anyway, we called in at the open-later-than-normal-for-the-Olympics Lidl (presumably open due to all the Olympic visitors who are lost and have ended up in Cornwall) for bread and cheese and stuffed our faces silly. Which means that the children ave now gone to bed happy that thy have ad their full meal quota for the day...
