M6 drive-by

With the courtesy car mix-up sorted, we eventually set off for our Christmas trip to see friends and Hubby's side of the family this morning and had a magical winter wonderland journey on the M6 skirting the Lake District. We stopped off in Widnes to see Hubby's brother and then onto Speke to see more of the family, finally ending the day at our host's place for good chat, pizza and chocolate in front of the roaring fire. Ah, bliss!

This photo of Lambrigg Wind Farm was taken across the car past Hubby who was driving and out of the window (which was up), so quality isn't perfect, but it is always an impressive view and in the snow it was even better.
