View from the (double glazed) living room window
Thank you SO much for all the kind comments yesterday, both on the fact it was my 300th blip and also the good wishes for Hubby, my Mam and Sister. I will try to respond individually to all of them over the next few days, though we are away this weekend. Hubby and Sis are both still suffering today, but at least they are still here with us. The insurance company has been very efficient and now instead of having no car, we have two! Long story and too tired to explain today. Maybe Hubby will do so tomorrow. If you'd like to see how the old car fared, see Hubby's blip today. At least now we have transport we can still travel to Cheshire this weekend to 'do' Christmas with Hubby's side of the family.
As for today's photo, here are the sheep out our back window (now a cosy double glazed one - the new windows are making a great difference in this cold weather). You may have noticed one sheep is wearing a fetching red harness. This is a tupping harness, for the wearer is our tup (ram). It is an ingenious device, containing a coloured crayon which marks the rear end of any sheep he tups. The crayon is changed periodically to see how many he's had in a week. Can you imagine its application in human society? Perhaps not.
As I wasn't in right frame of mind yesterday, I'd like to take the opportunity today to also say THANK YOU to all at blip central for this site, which I so enjoy being a part of, and also to the other blippers who make blipfoto such a friendly place to be.
