Marker, in a sea of Brambles. Close to the A9, in Inverness.
Have snapped this a couple of times recently with the Panasonic, but couldn't quite get the vividness of that orange right. Ended up using something else for those days.
Was late in leaving work... which was a mistake. The heavens opened whilst I was under the cycle shelter, becoming torrential for a while. Seemed as though a big rain cloud had stopped over the town, and just kept emptying its load. Waited about for at least forty minutes for it to ease. Should've headed back inside! Fairly pleasant cycle after the first mile of light rain. Big puddles everywhere, and judging by the smell emanating from the outfall pipe near the bridge, best not to go kayaking in the Firth for at least a week...
