Vive la France!

This might look like a French street, but it's Hove actually! I was nicely surprised to see the French flags flying outside Le Bistro Nantais at lunchtime - I was proud to be European, but I can't say I'm proud to be British at the moment.

I feel quite 'down' about the whole situation - like I've been forced into something with my hands tied and there's nothing I can do about it. It's not a nice feeling at all, and I know I'm not alone.

One of my friends who voted to leave messaged me today - 'what have I done?' To which I asked what she meant, knowing full well she was talking about her vote. She said she was lied to and she believed it. She's now signed the petition for a second referendum. And there seem to be so many 'leavers' who now regret their decision. It's sad, so very sad :-(

I wonder now if we should ever have moved back to the UK three years ago, maybe we should go back while we still can!
