Visitors

We had a fun day today.  One of the lovely people we made friends with on our South American cruise is this great guy, Gabriel.  He is a jeweler from Rio de Janeiro, and we enjoyed meeting him and his father while we were aboard the Mariner.  Gabriel is engaged to the lovely Vanessa (who sadly wasn't on the cruise), and they were passing through our neck of the woods today as they head for the airport in New York after returning from a trip to Maine.

We took them to the lovely Mayflower Grace hotel in nearby Washington, CT for lunch, where we sat out on the most delightful porch awash in white wicker furniture and potted plants, and ate like royalty all the while being regaled with hilarious stories of their life and travels.  So much fun!
