The Watched Kettle Never Boils

Actually, the watched kettle is generally the only kettle that ever boils, otherwise somebody else comes along and unplugs it so that they can use the toaster instead ... :o/

However, I decided to risk not watching the kettle this morning, as there was nobody else around to disturb it ... and so whilst waiting for the kettle to boil, I thought I'd just nip down the road to see how the sunrise was coming along ... :o)
