Went to a meadow that hadn't been mowed.

A long day today, Preston and back twice and an evening at a Labour Party meeting that for me showed just how seriously out of touch some parts of our political system are. Whilst they were all well meaning, they were also completely out of touch.
I was embarrassed to see the elderly chair simply talk over the solitary teenager in the room, and incredulous to be scorned for not buying the local paper and preferring to get instant news online.
When I suggested we all try and bring one new person to the next meeting I thought maybe I'd sworn they looked so shocked.
Hmmmmmm.
