Carcassonne

It is no wonder rumours abound that Disney visited Carcassonne or guidance before embarking on many of their cartoon films. It is an entirely fairytale construction. It is our second or third visit - I forget - and perhaps I am more aware today of the over abundance of sweet stalls and souvenirs. Nevertheless, a fun day and lots of walking.

In other news, I realised SmileyCharlie was not going to blow her more than adequate trumpet and I'm going to have to do it for her. She received notice the other day that she got a First in her Biology degree from Manchester University including an additional award for extreme cleverness in her Year in Industry. I am allowed to glow warmly in the strength of my pride.
