The Gorge at Minerve

We were in Minerve a little over a year ago - it was a blip for 20th June 2015 - and this time we explored the gorge more fully. This picture shows the start of the gorge as you approach Minerve. It doesn't really show the scale, though, and we ended up walking through huge cavernous tunnels gouged out of the rock by millions of years of river flow. Like the cathedrals of the previous week, I'm hopeful the ultra wide angle lens will come up trumps on Flickr, when we get home.
