Moselle cycle holiday day 1

Trier to Trittenheim 42km.
We cycled in the rain sometimes heavy and at other times just light. I had decent waterproofs this time, so enjoyed the ride anyway. The cycle route passed through Pfalzel where a kind local cyclist took us to see the oldest lived in stone building in Germany. Then heavier rain forced me to put on my new waterproof trousers. We followed the cycle signs only getting lost a couple of times, passing through Scweich, Mehring, Klusserath and arriving at our destination Trittenheim at about 4pm. We are staying in a beautiful hotel with a lovely modern room. (But no wifi )
