Pounding the Ball

This is Kim, one of my lovely and very athletic nieces.  Volleyball tournament season is in full swing (no pun intended) and this weekend's is close to home.  We watched Kim and her sister Kendra (in the extra) play doubles today and will go back tomorrow to watch my brother play coed doubles with Kendra.  He played with Kim last weekend.  Pipersdad and I used to play doubles (never together or we probably wouldn't still be married) but we decided about 10 years ago that it's a game for young people.  My brother doesn't agree and is still playing competitively at age 73.  He is truly amazing!  I hope to feature him in tomorrows blip.  :-)
