Morecambe Bay
Today we went as volunteer helpers at the Roudsea Wood Osprey Open Day.
It was beautiful weather, as usual on the edge of Morecambe Bay, with a little breeze and plenty of sunshine.
A good number of visitors came along to view the Ospreys on their nest, dad brought a large mullet which fed the family all day. We had good views of the mum feeding the chick through the telescope.
I had a long walk around the nature reserve with Jenny, mostly discussing the disastrous Brexit vote and then on to more cheerful things like holidays!
Pepper had a good run on the sands, before returning home to discover that her present had arrived!
