Early marsh orchid
One for the orchid conoisseurs, this. It's the coccinea subspecies of the early marsh orchid, a brick-red form that only occurs in sand-dunes. Where they do grow, such as here at Braunton Burrows in north Devon, they look like little hyacinths.
