Idiots
Not woodpeckers but people who voted for Brexit. What have you DONE??
It's very hard to accept that such a massive change to our constitution can be implemented when only half of those who voted opted for it (and shame on those who didn't vote - except those who got stranded at Waterloo; it wasn't their fault obviously). I feel dismayed at the small-mindedness and bigotry of so many and the manipulation by those who should behave better that has led our country to this point - and I feel powerless to do anything about it. This can't be right. Surely there must be a course of action for the defeated 16 million people who did not vote for this monumental change and do not want it? I can't decide who to be more angry at: Cameron, Farage, Bojo, Murdoch or the idiots who put their crosses in the wrong box. So, anyway, I've always fancied living in Scotland...
Brexit aside, I had a good day. It was our monthly open day at the museum and we had loads of punters today. I laid out a skeleton and set up my camera to take photographs of it step-by-step to create a timelapse video. Then I spent the rest of the day talking to visitors, including a couple of primary school parties who were great fun and full of interest (and dressed as ancient Egyptians). And then at the end of the day we selected three samples to send to the lab in Scotland for radiocarbon dating. Can't wait to get the results!
