Another poorly-lit picture of a bird and another busy day... Up early and over the common with the dogs then away to Worthing to finish the measurements on one of the skeletons from last time and to assess some cremated remains which have come to light in the interim. I took some pictures and weighed them but couldn't make much sense of them, to be honest, so they probably won't be much use to my project.

When I got back this afternoon (following a much better return trip than the hellish Friday rush hour one last time), I had a little break and then went down to vote. I was the only voter there at that particular moment but there were lots of numbers ticked-off the list so I hope the turnout wasn't too badly affected by the weather. For what it's worth: I don't believe we should have a referendum to sort out an argument within a political party but, since we find ourselves in this position, for goodness' sake let's not choose to isolate ourselves. Safety in numbers, better the devil you know, etc, etc. Since it's not legally binding anyway, even if the electorate does stuff up and vote to leave, all being well Dave will just put it to a vote in Parliament and solve the problem that way. He could finally do something that I agree with.
