Day Seven Tuesday

A morning around the pool, dipping in and out to try and stay cool!
A light lunch before going back to the room to get ready for our trip, Rhodes Town by Night.

A walk up a steepish hill in 40+ degrees is not much fun, but we made it, waited 15 minutes under a tree for our coach pick up, the trip was hot and sticky despite air con!

We did have a great tour guide who gave us the low down on Rhodes Old Towns' history going back hundreds of years.....very insightful and interesting, and he knew exactly where to stop, in nice shady corners :-)

We had a lovely traditional Greek meal in the Four Seasons Taverna.
This view of Mandraki harbour is taken from their roof terrace, of the town walls looking outwards. Rhodes Town is a real hub of activity with great shops and places to eat too.

Our trip was finished off with a short moonlit cruise around the harbour before heading back to our coach.....we got back to our hotel just before midnight.
