Strandarkirkja

A relatively old (1888) Icelandic church which once had a fishing community around it but is now pretty much alone as the fishing left the harsh coast. The 'Prestur' - priest or minister - still has a marked parking space in the car park. And it is rather pretty but it really is in the middle of nowhere...
